Leadership background
Newhard most recently served as CEO of Yunex Traffic GmbH, a global provider of intelligent transportation systems and smart mobility solutions, where he was responsible for strategy, operations, and financial performance. Earlier roles include CEO of Clinc, General Manager of Cubic ITS, and CEO of Advanced Traffic Solutions (Trafficware), where he led its turnaround and growth strategy through its acquisition by Cubic Corporation. He holds a degree in Economics and Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Board Chairman Patrick Byrne said Newhard will help lead Verra Mobility and chart the company’s next phase, and that the company looks forward to partnering closely with him to drive the business forward to meet the evolving smart mobility needs of the communities it serves.
