Leadership background
Kirby helped establish Ethos Support in 2022 as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, ahead of the company’s official launch in 2023. The company said she has more than 20 years of industry experience. Under her leadership as COO, Ethos Support expanded its customer support, technical support, trust and safety, and back-office capabilities and grew to more than 200 professionals with two offices in the Philippines.
The mandate
In the announcement, Kirby said her commitment is to continue growing Ethos Support in a way that stays true to who the company is, with employees feeling valued, clients feeling supported and the personal connection that sets the company apart kept intact. She said the company does not aspire to be the biggest outsourcing company and wants to be the company its clients trust and its employees are proud to be part of.
Why this matters for GTM teams
Executive appointments can precede changes in strategy, operating cadence, hiring, partnerships, and technology priorities. The useful signal is not the title alone: teams should watch the new leader’s stated mandate, prior playbook, organizational scope, and the initiatives announced during the first two quarters.
