- Leader: Chris Lefebvre
- Role: Chief Executive Officer
- Effective: October 1, 2026
- Announcement date: October 22, 2026
Leadership background
Lefebvre brings more than 30 years of executive leadership across payments, financial services, and technology. He served as COO of BankServ, where he led the company’s national expansion and its successful exit, later held C-suite roles at eCommerce sales and marketing companies, and founded the consulting firm CRC. Most recently he was Global Head of Relationship Management for Grocery, Petroleum, and Technology at Fiserv.
The mandate
Lefebvre said he was drawn to the opportunity to deepen Verisave’s core solutions, expand its reach across the broader financial ecosystem, and accelerate the company’s growth. Layton said clients increasingly need better solutions to control costs and manage their payments proactively, and that Lefebvre brings deep payments expertise and a track record of building products and solutions around that need.
Why this matters for GTM teams
Executive appointments can precede changes in strategy, operating cadence, hiring, partnerships, and technology priorities. The useful signal is not the title alone: teams should watch the new leader’s stated mandate, prior playbook, organizational scope, and the initiatives announced during the first two quarters.
Source and methodology
This leadership profile is based on the company’s announcement. Roles, transition timing, and biographical details are presented as announced; SalesTools Research does not infer undisclosed succession plans.
