Mimecast announced a leadership change on June 25, 2026. Mimecast named internal successor Ranjan Singh CEO, succeeding Marc van Zadelhoff, to lead the company’s next phase of execution and platform-led growth.

Leadership background

Singh joined Mimecast in 2025 as Chief Product and Technology Officer, where the company said he further unified its product and engineering organizations and accelerated AI-powered platform development. Before Mimecast, he spent more than three years as Chief Product Officer at Kaseya, with P and L responsibility across seven business units and more than 40 SaaS products, and held leadership roles at Crestron Electronics and IPC Systems.

The mandate

Mimecast said Singh will lead the company’s next phase of execution and platform-led growth. Singh said the convergence of human behavior, data, and AI has created a new risk surface that organizations were not built to handle in isolation.
