Six Flags to Relocate Corporate Headquarters to Arlington
Six Flags announced a headquarters milestone on August 25, 2026. Six Flags Entertainment Corporation said it will relocate its corporate headquarters from Charlotte, N.C., to its existing offices at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
What changed
The announcement changes the company’s headquarters footprint from Charlotte, NC to Arlington, TX. The Arlington headquarters will serve as the primary hub for the company’s corporate leadership and shared business functions, and the relocation is expected to be completed by March 2027. Choctaw Stadium has served as a corporate office since 2020 and currently houses a portion of the corporate workforce.
- New headquarters: Arlington, TX
- Previous headquarters: Charlotte, NC
- Announcement date: August 25, 2026
Why the company chose this location
The company said Arlington’s proximity to its five Texas parks, transportation access, business environment and location in an entertainment and tourism district made it an ideal home, and noted that the city is home to Six Flags Over Texas, which opened in 1961. CEO John Reilly said bringing corporate teams together in the office would improve collaboration and strengthen the company’s culture.
What the move signals
A headquarters opening or relocation can signal new hiring capacity, consolidation of operating teams, investment in a regional ecosystem, or a change in how a company serves customers and partners. For GTM teams, the useful next step is to watch for role openings, regional leadership appointments, vendor consolidation, and facilities-related initiatives connected to the move.
