Leadership background

Stiles has been with Stryker since joining its Endoscopy business in 1999 and has held leadership roles across nearly every Stryker business, the company said. He became President and Chief Operating Officer in January 2026, after serving as Group President, Orthopaedics, where he led the Joint Replacement and Trauma and Extremities businesses.

The mandate

Stiles said he is honored to be named Stryker’s next CEO and is excited to build on the foundation Kevin Lobo created “as we continue executing our strategy, driving growth and advancing our mission to make healthcare better.” The company said he will also be appointed to its Board when he becomes CEO on January 1, 2027.
